AGROMEQA EXPO 2026: Equipment Makers and Agritech Firms Target Nigeria’s Agro-Export Gap

Agricultural equipment manufacturers, precision farming providers, and agro-processors are preparing for a commercial push into Nigeria's agribusiness value chain following the announcement of the AGROMEQA EXPO 2026. Organized by ACCI in collaboration with JMT Plus Farms and Agro-Allied, the event focuses on transforming raw agricultural commodities into processed, export-ready goods.

Unveiling the initiative in Abuja, ACCI First Vice President Prof. Adesoji Adesugba highlighted that the primary obstacle to expanding Nigeria's agricultural exports is the lack of value-addition equipment, standardized packaging, and mechanized harvesting tech.

The two-day expo—set to feature keynote addresses from Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima and NACCIMA President Engr. Jani Ibrahim—will serve as a strategic marketplace matching equipment vendors and technology developers with commercial farmers, cooperatives, and logistics operators. By scaling domestic processing and modernizing harvest systems, companies in the agritech and industrial equipment sectors stand to capture significant B2B market share.
